Meanwhile, what is actually going on in the Northern Territory with every last Aboriginal human, any guesses!?If Joh Bjelke-Petersen was able to live everyday as it comes, and Bob Browns "cease the day",I guess NT Aboriginality isnt all planning for the next Beanie-in!? I hope the point of this isnt lost!

I find it dissapointing that commentary about Tom Calma's position, including the above post, consistently ignores what he says about the urgency of land reform.

At the same time as he released the social justice report he also released his report into native title which, it seems to me, to be very relevant to the present situation and to the Greens parliamentary agenda.

T.C's native title report -
http://www.hreoc.gov.au/social_justice/nt_report/ntreport07/index.html

from the recommendations.......

"Twenty-five recommendations arise from this report, but overarching, there are two that stand out.

Recommendation 1.1 deals with unscrambling the existing legislative gridlock in native title.
Recommendation 1.2 proposes a national summit on the native title system."
